Terms

Terms for trusted community listing workflows.

These terms cover search, planning, contributions, claims, donations, notifications, and administrative review. They are written for production operation, not marketing copy.

Use of listing information

Mikvah Finder helps users discover and verify mikvah listing information, but hours, access rules, fees, and rabbinic policies can change. Users should confirm time-sensitive details directly with the mikvah or operator before traveling.

Community contributions

Submissions, edit suggestions, condition reports, issue reports, photos, and claims must be accurate, relevant, and respectful. Contributions may be moderated, merged, rejected, escalated, or used to update canonical listing data with provenance.

Operator and rabbinic review

Claimed operators and rabbinic reviewers receive role-appropriate tools for queue review, evidence handling, listing updates, and audit trails. Review decisions may affect listing visibility, trust badges, user notifications, and follow-up requests.

Privacy and security

Users may not attempt to scrape private data, bypass role checks, reverse engineer protected workflows, interfere with rate limits, or submit malicious content. Security events may be logged and accounts may be restricted to protect users and listings.

Payments and donations

Donation processing is subject to the selected processor, the donor disclosure page, Shabbat and yom tov safeguards, fraud controls, and receipt policies. Payment availability may vary by currency, legal entity, and processor readiness.

Availability

The service may degrade during provider outages, map provider failures, maintenance, or incident response. Offline and cached views are offered for continuity where possible, but they are not a substitute for confirming urgent listing details.
